I don't recommend taking them as their effects may be confused with ongoing symptoms of a head injury, namely drowsiness, concentration difficulties, lightheadedness, coordination problems & forgetfulness.

If you indeed have suffered a true cerebral concussion of any grade, would suggest the avoidance of all tranquilizers and sedatives for about 4-6 wks., unless these have been absolutely critical in the past. Would contact your doctor and have all of this closely supervised at this time.
