Yes, that certainly could happen. But if the diagnosis isn't certain in both locations, see a doctor or clinic ASAP to confirm the diagnosis (e.g. with an HSV PCR test) and best treatment. One of UK's excellent NHS GUM clinics would be an excellent option. Good luck.
