A member asked:

When does steroid eye drops effects subside if i take it for 2 months? thank you?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

After using corticosteroid eye drops for 2 months, I would think weaning off them rather than stopping suddenly would prevent rebound of certain symptoms that may have been the reason that they were prescribed. However, steroid drops prescribed following cataract surgery are usually stopped abruptly without incident. Effects wear off in a few days.
