I need help in finding the underlying cause of my 6-year-olds behavior lately. when he is doing something he knows he isnt supposed to be doing he will blankly stare at you. he wont answer just stares. he is also having a hard time sleeping at night?

Staring spells are often behavioral,but may be associated with a type of seizure activity. If the staring resolves with waving your hand in front of his eyes, it is more likely a staring episode. Please let your Pediatrician follow up.
