By far the most common cause of strong vaginal odor is bacterial vaginosis. (Yeast rarely causes significant odor.) Despite your negative testing for BV, it remains a possibility. Trichomonas also is possible; or sometimes a foreign body, like a forgotten tampon. Discuss with your doctor or see a gyn to specializes in infectious diseases. Good luck.
