A member asked:

Is it possible for my kids to get hpv from me if they get in bed in the morning after my husband and i have sex? are there any precautions we should take to make sure they dont get it? our daughter is old enough to get the vaccine. the boy are not?

HPV is not passed like a staph or strep germ might by casual contact. Genital strains are passed by genital to genital contact and seem to require a mechanical event for transfer. The genital strains do not cause simple skin warts in other areas. Enjoy your kids and don't consider tis an issue.
