The "brown discharge" may be withdrawal bleeding from ovulation, however, obtain a serum HCG test to see if retained tissue present, although "9 weeks" is a long duration post abortion for such to exist, especially if you are not on oral bcp's at this point. See your GYN physician for guidance.
