Had surgical abortion 50 days ago..now experiencing light brown tissue like discharge..no pain, itching or burning, smels like a period..is this normal?

Probably: This could be a period. The first one after a pregnancy termination can be a bit "off" since the hormones are resolving to more normal levels. However, it could be a little bit of retained placental tissue coming out. A D&C pregnancy termination does not always get all the tissue out of the uterus.
