In last 24 hours i've had frequent stabbing pain on my right side below belly button. the pain comes and goes. i have also started to feel weak and a little nauseous. my periods are often heavy and painful also. otherwise i feel ok . should i worry ?

We always worry about appendicitis when there's persistent right lower abdominal discomfort, especially with associated tenderness there. The discomfort may be related to pelvic congestion/inflammation as another possibility. I recommend being examined ASAP in the ER if abdominal pain& tenderness are still present.

Anytime we deal with your cute on side of right lower quadrant abdominal pain, we miss always consider the possibility of appendicitis. If you notice that your symptoms are worsening, you develop fevers, or other new symptoms, you should go to the emergency room immediately. Good luck.
