I have constant burning pain d in my upper stomach when i have a bowel movement. i do have gastroparesis. could gastroparesis cause burning and pain in the upper abdomen. i've had gastroparesis flare ups in the past. how long do they last?

I never encountered intermittent gastroparesis but it does occur and can cause upper abdominal distress of moderate degree as well as nausea& vomiting. .
