A member asked:

Could severe chronic head pain be a sign of a neurological disorder?

Yes. It may be a form of migraine, or an indication of chronic inflammation of the meninges or ever a brain tumor. It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

Since you provide vague, general comments, it is impossible to be precise, but such items as migraine, temporal arteritis, TMJ syndrome, dental abscess, intracranial pressure increase, and chronic sinusitis could all be culprits. You might receive a more specific evaluation via virtual consult (www.connect@healthtap.com).
