You should see a pulmonologist with these latest symptoms. You may have acute bronchitis on top of your chronic asthma. You may need some additional meds, including an antibiotic. You also may need your inhalers adjusted during this episode. If you smoke, you need to quit ASAP. So, see a pulmonary doctor. Good luck to you!

Please follow up with your physician and have a sputum culture for bacterial causes, including TB. A CBC, differential often is helpful. A course of antibiotics and evaluation for Flu, COVID 19 is recommended. Asthma may worsen during infection. Watch for signs of shortness of breath and fever.
