Can i smoke weed after having an upper endoscopy?

You will have symptoms after this procedure which last for 24 hours- 48 hours. Your throat will be a little sore, so no more irritation is necessary. Wait a few days for side effects to wear off and then smoke.

Most patients who undergo an upper endoscopy will have some sort of sedation, often conscious sedation or propofol. It is recommended to avoid any other mind-altering substances after having sedation. You should wait at least 24 hours to use marijuana. Be safe.

No. Marijuana is a psychoactive drug and will mess with your brain and damage your lungs among other injury. MJ users are called stoners for good reason. Quit using it while you are ahead. Wish you good health!
