A member asked:

What are the acceptable range for "complement activity, total (ch50)" for a 3 years old kid? why is my kid result showing "greater than 60" instead of definite value. does it mean it is anywhere between 60 and 70?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is low levels that define an abnormality and potential for susceptibility to recurrent infections among other issues. When a level is at or above the expected normal for age they don't have an upper limit defined. Here the test is normal.
