You may be experiencing episodes of syncope, and such causes as dehydration, thyroid disease, anemia, vaso-vagal stimuli, postural hypotension, epilepsy, basilar migraine, etc., could be the underlying mechanism. See your doctor, but for now, avoid driving, activities at heights, use of power equipment, bathing, or swimming alone.
