"Plan B" is essentially a birth control pill in its hormone content. When the "Plan B" wears off, minor spotting or slight bleeding may occur, but it does not affect a normal menstrual cycle. If your period is delayed after "Plan B", and you have normally regular cycles (24-32 days apart), obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy. "Plan B" is not 100% effective.
