If one has liver cancer from chronic Hepatitis C and if the Hepatitis C Virus is still active as confirmed by certain Blood Test, then one can still transmit/ transfer the Hepatitis C virus to others. Fortunately, there is now very good treatment for Hepatitis C so a visit to the PCP, Gastroenterologist or Infectious Disease expert will be appropriate

Hepatitis C remains contagious in case untreated, talk to treating doc about possible treatment and overall goals of treating.
