A member asked:

I had a vasectomy procedure done in early december 22. the large hematoma formed in the right testicle within hours of the procedure. it is about the lemon size and does not feel like getting smaller. shall i be concerned or do i just need more time?

Given the poor blood flow in the area involved I would expect a hematoma in that space to take months to subside, You may want to contact the doc who did the procedure to let them know the issue. They could needle & remove much of the mass of material if it did not form a large clot. You may be better off leaving it alone. I would still contact the doc. They need to know.

I would ask the vasectomyer if this is normal for folks like you who had what they did.
