When my cold left me i had terrible pain on both sides of my lower stomach. sometimes it seemed it radiated all around to my lower back. what could be causing this?

Did you have a head cold or an intestinal virus? Abdominal pains are not usually seen with a head cold. Are you experiencing bowel symptoms such as diarrhea or severe constipation? Persistent abdominal pain,especially with associated abdominal tenderness, must be evaluated urgently,preferably in the hospital ER where prompt evaluation & appropriate testing are available.
