A member asked:

My daughter got a hold of my melatonin and ate 4 of them they ate 2.5 mg.. should i be worried?

I would always say to be proactive, rather than worry because it never helps to worry. A 2.5 mg means to observe your daughter for now and if any dangerous symptom apart from just making sure she sleeps in a safe environment to see her pediatrician. It is however more important to prevent future access to any medication and avoid using melatonin for your daughter just because of the convenience.
