Even normally regular women occasionally skip a cycle or two. If the delay was due to pregnancy the hormones involved would turn a simple urine pregnancy test positive. Your next menses is likely to be heavy. If ir has not happened after another month an OBGYN may offer meds to bring one on (with a negative test)

Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
