Phentermine may enhance the serotonin effects of Escitalopram, the worse case causing a condition called serotonin syndrome. Phentermine is recommended to be be taken in the morning, before breakfast, or 1-2 hours after breakfast, and intended for short-term use (12 weeks). Both medications stay in the system for a long time, and can take 4-5 days to be eliminated after take each pill.
