The most common "stomach bug" is norovirus. Symptoms usually last 5-7 days, but sometimes up to two weeks. It is infectious for others at lewith norovirus vomits puts the exposed person at risk. To protect those around you, for the next several days be especially attentive to toilet hygiene, frequent hand washing and/or sanitizer gel, and extremely careful if you prepare food for others.
