A member asked:

Ive had borderline neutropenia (1.8-1.9) and leukopenia (3.0-3.4) for a few years. monocytes now elevated and have been elevated for 1 year (14-16%). flow cytometry showed granulocytes slightly left shifted immunophenotype. what are possible causes?

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, it may be your normal. If you do not have any symptoms, you may watch and wait. Wish you good health!
