This disorder is considered "idiopathic" meaning they don't have a clear explanation of why it occurs, just a pattern of those in whom it occurs. There are a few rare, published family cases in the world literature. One in twins. These are not enough to create an inheritance pattern. It is certainly not a dominant pattern. I wouldn't worry about it.

"Pseudotumor" is NOT a genetic disorder period! But I suspect we will find genetic susceptibility one day. Many cases are associated with obesity, hormonal and metabolic issues, certain medications (espec. some antibiotics), vitamin A overdoses, cerebral venous sinus thrombosis, etc. Odds are very high that this will likely spare your children.
