Very good afternoon doctors. can rough toilet paper or rubbing too hard with rougher toilet paper cause blood in the anus or possibly hemorrhoidsl. i was away and the toilet paper was not charmin am home with charmin, no apparent blood at all?

You can always create an abrasion from rough rubbing of the peri-anal skin. This can cause bright red blood to appear on the paper or stool. You do not create/trigger hemorrhoids that way.
