I have a kidney infection and am on antibiotics for 3 days im bleeding and my butthole hurts ive had loose stool for 3 days . ive been using petroleum jelly to ease the pain . what else can i do? also can i take anti diarrhea medicine?

I assume you're passing bright red blood with loose stools& you're not passing blood in your urine. You may have antibiotic associated diarrhea, possibly with hemorrhoidal bleeding if blood isn't excessive rather than inflammatory bowel disease. Drink lots of room temperature liquids, avoid roughage in your diet,take imodium per directions. Apply warm water compresses to anus. Go to ER as needed.

Yes. Also you can use OTC Anusol and try sitz baths 2-3 times a day. Drink plenty of water Hope you feel better
