Is the uneven fatty texture symptom in pancreatic cancer the same thing as pancreatic panniculitis?

I have never heard of a fatty texture symptom. Please double check. The panniculitis usually occurs when pancreatic juices (secretiosn) spill into the panniculis and start digesting it as I recall.
