Could hormonal imbalance cause the same signs as bpd? how many psych tests are needed for a dx?

Intriguing. : I dare say yes. Hormonal (hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-thyroidal-gonadal: hpatg axis) hormones are bound to be involved in most psychiatric syndromes including bpd. So too can the wrong prescription meds. It is for such reasons that I have started routinely measuring and monitoring thyroid, sex, and adrenal hormones as well as testing of neurotransmitters. I find these tests very helpful.
