Yesterday i had strabismus surgery on both eyes. since then i have been running a low fever, about 99.5. is this normal post-op?

Your temperature, if measured correctly, is barely above the normal range and may not reflect an abnormal issue. If you are feeling okay, it would be appropriate to resume your activities. Drink enough water so that your urine is mostly colorless, in case dehydration is causing this mild rise in temperature. Wish you good health!
