Inflamation: This is the name of the inflamation of the hair follicules of the skin. Most of the time is due to a imbalance between the bacterias in the skin they colonize the follicules and the body produce and inflamatory process in order to eradicates and destroy the offending bacteria. The most common bacterias are streptococcus species but one of the most important nowday is staphylococcus aureus.

Symptoms: common symptoms include a rash, itching, and pimples or pustules near a hair follicle in the neck, groin, or genital area or anywhere on the body. Folliculitis can be caused by bacteria, yeast or fungus.
