Depending on the meal and the quantity consumed, it is not unusual to have postprandial somnolence. As a matter of fact, it is one reason for the Siesta Break , people take in some parts of the World. And the recent Thanksgiving Turkey consumption we had in the USA (11/24/22) confirms postprandial somnolence as a common phenomenon. Unless it impedes routine activities, there is no need to worry.
