What you taking these for? You can take both but neither may address the cause of your symptoms. It would have helped had you listed your symptoms.

It depends on why you are taking the medicines in the 1st place. If you are taking it for heartburn, which I suspect, you would actually be better off with a liquid antacid such as Mylanta or Tums rather than Alka-Seltzer or Pepto. You also could consider Pepcid, although the Mylanta or Tums would work faster. If your problem persists, see your doctor or make an appointment on HealthTap.
