The effect of tubal ligation on the menstrual cycle has been bandied about for years in the medical literature. Studies show conflicting conclusions. I simply listen to the patient and believe whatever changes they describe from heavier to lighter periods or more or less regular cycles. What does your gynecologist tell you?
