Hi, i had sex 3 days before my expected period and used the vcf contraceptive gel by itself. i am 4 days late on my period now. i took a pregnancy test yesterday but it was negative, im guessing because it was too early to test. need advice?

Yes, it is early for the urine test to become positive with a less than 7 days of assumed conception. However, if you missed your period for 4 days then your urine test, if done with an early morning sample, should be positive if you are pregnant.
