A few floaters are not uncommon. However, if you develop new floaters, it is imperative that you see an ophthalmologist at the earliest.

Please see an ophthalmologist who can examine your eyes thoroughly and be sure that there is not a problem. At 23, floaters are not common and should be followed at any age. This may not be a floater, but the ophthalmologist will be able to tell you.
