Does tri lo sprintec stop ovarian cysts from forming? i have a slightly large one causing pain while on this pill. been on this pill for several years. im gonna ask about switching to regular strength instead of low dose maybe?

Ovarian cysts can occur and sometimes will not spontaneously rupture. While rupture causes sharp but limited pain, a large cyst can contribute to more prolonged pain, as movement, sexual activity, can have painful consequences. Taking even low dose oral bcp's will prevent new (benign) cyst formation, ask your GYN physician about laparoscopic removal.
