It depends on how high was your baseline BP before you started taking Amlodipine. without taking Amlodipine your BP will likely go up by 10-20mm... which is relatively harmless. But you should get it checked at a pharmacy at least once daily or at least on alternate days. You may have to call your PCP to call in a new prescription to a local pharmacy if the BP readings get up too high(160 mm/95mm
