Are his testosterone blood levels too high for weeks after the injections? Perhaps he would have less hypersexuality changing to patches or gels which don't cause spikes of high testosterone levels. Have him discuss this with his prescribing physician.

Testosterone can increase the libido. The frequency of sex has no 'normal' and every situation is different. Best you discuss your feelings with your husband and also his prescriber. Good luck
