I am scared of lung cancer. i have had 3 chest xrays this year and a ct scan of my chest in march 2021. i had my latest one monday. everything came back good. i do ecigs but trying to quit. would lung cancer have shown up? thanks?

We never say always or never in medicine. That said, if there was something notable in your chest these studies should find it. These studies would also not give it to you.

The CT scan is the most useful and dependable in-depth screening tool. Those with a negative result should now relax and focus on stopping smoking and most primary providers can several medications to assist this.

Would a chest xray show lung cancer? I had CT of chest nov 2012 and it was clear. I have +ana elevated sed and low grade fevers.Up back pain 1 year.
My chest X-ray showed something wrong but the CT Scan was clear. What could it be? They thought it might be a collapsed lung or cancer. I have to wait a week to see the doctor. I am scared.
