The duration of your symptoms has more to do with how mean the germ was in attacking your gut than whether it was viral or bacterial. Antibiotics are rarely indicated & then only in a few types of germs that usually produce bloody stools. Bananas, rice, breads and applesauce are good bulking agents to aid recovery.

Antibiotics will probably not be helpful. The virus you have had is likely causing the lining of your intestines to be temporarily not absorbing fluids or processing foods properly. This can take weeks to get back to normal. Keep up with fluids & more binding foods & it will get better
