A "hard lump" indeed could be an infected cyst or some other kind of infection, including STDs like gonorrhea or chlamydia if you are at risk (new partner, partner with other partners, etc). And fishy vaginal discharge usually is bacterial vaginosis, which also is more common in women with STD; or trichomonas. See a doctor ASAP. Good luck.
