A member asked:

One lab said my lymph (absolute) was 4.6 (ref range: 0.7 - 3.1 x10e3/ul). a few weeks later, another lab (quest) reported 3948 (ref range: 850-3900 cells/ul). is 3948 too high? how do i convert 3938 cells/ul to a range like 0.7 -3.1 x10e3/ul)?

10E3 is 10 the third power or 1000 so you just multiple 0.7 or 3.1 by 1000 and get 700 to 3100. The references are slightly different . Follow up in a month and if persists follow up with a hematologist https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/17751-lymphocytosis
