I received 50mg sertraline. instructions to take half (25mg) for 4 days then only take 50mg afterwards. but i desperately want to sleep so i took 100mg straight. suffer from insomnia 3days & trembling from time to time. will i be okay?

that med can make you sleep after many weeks when is relieves you from anxiety depression, if you take the right dose. It never make you sleep directly. Your doctor needs to add an anti-depressant that DIRECTLY help you sleep and you will sleep well within a few days. Trazodone is a good med that does not cause weight gain. Primary care doctor know that pill. Start at minimum dose of 50mg.
