A retinal scan may provide additional information. A Pediatric Opthalmologist or an Optometrist with Pediatric experience is recommended. It is important to obtain a specialist and examination. A retinal scan may be available at their office and doesn't involve an admission. Watch for signs of behavior change, and consider toxicology screening.
