Spontaneous bruising: This may be a sign of some issue with bleeding related to platelets or clotting factors. You should avoid all medications which can causes more bleeding like warfarin, aspirin, plavix, fragmin, (dalteparin) etc be very careful and safe around your pets and children not to get any unnecessary injuries that may be difficult to stop form bleeding. I would go to your doctor and get some blood test done asap.

If they are : If they are getting worse, or you are bleeding uncontrollably, or running fevers you should call be seen sooner.
