I have an area on top of my head. left side and around the middle of my head. it always gets short sharp bursts of pain. what is wrong with me? i feel i could draw a circle of where the pain is. its been ongoing a while. are they dangerous?

Such recurring sharp,fleeting pains in the same area usually emanate from irritable superficial scalp nerves and are not from the intracranial area. These are more nuisances rather than anything serious. As has been mentioned, consult a neurologist for evaluation and advice.
