Plan B is emergency contraception you take within 72 hours after unprotected sex. It contains a high level of hormones that interfere with ovulation and the implantation of a fertilized embryo. Dosage should not be exceeded as the levonorgestrel can have bad side effects: nausea, abdominal pain, cramps, fatigue, headache, irregular bleeding, breast pain.
