I'm a 22 yr old female & a "borderline" case of hypothyroidism (therefore i can't receive prescription hormones). anything else i can do to treat it?

No borderline: There is no borderline, you either have it or you don't. It's like pregnancy and death - there is no borderline. At your age your appropriate lab values are different than the "normal" values your doctor may be looking at. See an endocrinologist.
