The urethra is the small tube that connects your bladder to the region of your inner labia. It would be excruciatingly painful to stick your finger in your urethra. When washing, use soap and water to wash outer surfaces, but not inside as it can cause irritation. Washing the urethral opening to vigorously can cause irritation and subsequent Urinary tract infection.
